Later, while continuing her professional career in Corporate Banking at Abn-Amro, she applied to the graduate scholarship program sponsored by the British Government. She won this scholarship and went to England to pursue an academic career. She received her master\u2019s degree in International Banking and Finance at Southampton University. After completing her master’s program, she received a scholarship from City University London and continued her doctoral program, but she decided to quit her academic life and returned to Turkey. Returning to her banking career, she worked as Branch Manager at Interbank and later moved to Akbank Head Office as Group Manager to establish the Commercial Banking Department and was later appointed as the Department Head. Then she moved to ABN AMRO Bank again as an Executive Vice President to set up commercial banking department. After ABN Amro was sold to Royal Bank of Scotland, she carried Executive Vice President role for Commercial, Corporate and Investment Banking departments simultaneously.<\/p>\n

After having a total of 25 years of experience in Corporate and Commercial Banking, she decided to move to the real sector in 2013 and started to provide consultancy services to many domestic and foreign construction companies on project financing at the CEO level, then stepped into the maritime sector in 2015 and started to work as Group CFO at Med Marine Holding which is Turkey\u2019s prominent shipbuilding and leading tug operator company. She acted as Deputy General Manager between the years of 2016-2020 and then she became General Manager in 2020.<\/p>\n

Y\u0131ld\u0131z Bozkurt \u00d6zcan currently holds the position of General Manager at Med Marine Holding.<\/p>\n

She is also one of the founding members of the Istanbul branch of the Professional Women Network and acts as the President of PWN Istanbul at the time being.<\/p>\n

Y\u0131ld\u0131z Bozkurt Ozcan is also a Board Member of the Turkish Ship, Yacht and Services Exporters’ Association which operates under the Turkey Exporters Assembly.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
